Customizing the Mobile App
Basic Configuration
This is where you add your own logo image and color scheme.
- Go to Communications / Mobile App / Basic Configuration.
- The optimal size for your logo image is 200 x 200 pixels.
Welcome Screen
You can customize the Mobile App Landing Page to display specific text when a user of the Membership Toolkit Mobile App connects to your organization. This could include a welcome message or sponsor information.
If you leave this blank, the system will present the user with your logo and the name of your organization.
Buttons - You can select if you want the Directory and Calendar buttons to present on your Welcome Screen.
Digital Membership Card
Your organization may have issued paper membership cards in the past. Within the Membership Toolkit App, you can make these available for your members digitally. For detailed instructions on setting this up, see our article on Digital Membership Cards.
Advanced - Navigation Menu
You can select which of your navigation menus you would like to use in the mobile app or you can enable/disable menu entries from an existing menu.
To Select or Set Up Additional Menu Items to Be Presented in the Mobile App:
- Go to Website / Navigation.
- Select Menu Entries to be displayed by checking/unchecking the "Enabled" box and the "Mobile" box. If the enabled box isn't checked, the menu entry won't present anywhere.
To Create a New Menu you will need to go to Website / Navigation and add a new menu.
Mobile Specific CSS
You can enter any custom CSS you would like to use when displaying your site's content on the mobile app. We recommend that you leave this blank unless you know what you're doing.
