Using the Mobile App

This is possibly the best way for parents to access your signups, store and website.

Downloading the App

The Membership Toolkit App is available for free in the Apple Store and in Google Play. Download it one time for all of the organizations that you are affiliated with that are using Membership Toolkit. If you belong to 4 organizations that are using Membership Toolkit, when you log in to the app you will see all four organizations presented and you can toggle between organizations. 

Step 1 - Visit the App Store (for Apple/iOS users) or the Google Play Store (for Android users)



          

   


Step 2 - Search for "Membership Toolkit" 

Step 3 - Download the app, then login with the same username and password you used online.

Note: The Mobile App setting must also be enabled by an account owner on your website.
  1. Go to Admin / Account Settings / Subscription Plan & Features.

App Notifications

Send Push Notifications to parents to remind them of an upcoming event or last minute announcement. Announcements that you send will be presented in your parent's mobile app as a notification. Families that don't have the app or have chosen not to accept push notifications will receive an email with the announcement.

How to Schedule and Send Push Notifications:
  1. Go to Communications / Push Notifications / Draft Notification.

  1. Select Compose Notification or choose a notification that you have already drafted.
  2. Select the Communications List(s) you wish to send the notification to.
  3. Select the name/email address the notification will come from.
  4. Choose when to send, the subject, and compose the body of the notification.
  5. Decide if you want to send the notification immediately (when scheduled) or save it as a Draft.

  1. If you select Schedule or Send Notification Now, you will be asked to confirm and save the notification to be sent out at your scheduled time.
  2. Scheduled Notifications will move to the Scheduled Notifications tab. You will still be able to edit notifications from this screen before they are sent.

Sent Notifications

Once a Push Notification has been sent it moves to the Sent Notifications tab. Here you can also see the analytics for the sent notification.



  1. Delivered means the notification has arrived at its destination server
  2. Total Opens refers to the total number of times the notification was opened by any email address.
  3. Unique Opens refers to the number of unique email addresses that opened the notification.
  4. Total Clicks are the total number of clicks on any link in the notification.
  5. Unique Clicks are the number of email addresses that clicked on one or more links.
  6. Bounced means there was a technical error preventing delivery (server off-line, mailbox full, etc.).
  7. Invalid means the address is invalid in some way (improperly formatted, domain doesn't exist, etc.).

Notification Settings

Users can control which notifications they receive and how they receive them within the App itself.
  1. Go to the App - Main Navigation page (not the landing page/welcome screen.)
  2. Tap the Settings wheel at the top right.
  3. Go to Communication Settings.
  4. Toggle the options for each type of communication.
