Setting Financial Categories for SKUs

Setting Financial Categories for SKUs

Financial categories are set at the SKU level in the Catalog.

The category you set for each SKU relates directly to how the data will be downloaded to excel in your reports and does NOT relate to the Accounting function that allocates the income to the different ledger accounts.

  • Go to Store & Forms / Catalog.
  • Select the SKU to be edited.
  • Go to the Sales Information tab.
  • Type in the "Category" for the SKU.
