A "Store" can be created on a website content page as a way to sell products without creating a form. They can be accessed by both logged in users as well as Guest users. Items will be displayed on the page in a grid of blocks.
To create a Store:
- Go to Dashboard / Store & Forms / Stores / New Store.
Overview Tab
- Store Title - Select a title.
- Mode - Choose from Draft, Active, and Archived. You will only be able to view the Store when it is in Active Mode.
- Publish Date/Time - This must be current to view the Store.
- Unpublish Date/Time - When you want the Store to no longer be visible.
- URL - This will appear after you "save" and can be used to link directly to the Store. If you want to create your own slug, use the Settings tab.
Description Tab
If you want to add text and/or graphics at the top or bottom of your Store page:
- Go to Store & Forms / Stores / Select Store / Description tab.
- Use the Preamble editor to add information to the top of the Store page.
- Use the Postamble editor to add information to the bottom of the Store page.
Settings Tab
To edit the basic features of a Store:
- Go to Store & Forms / Stores / Select Store / Settings tab.
- Proceed Action - Select if you want the "Proceed to Checkout" button to appear on the store screen or if you want it to be hidden.
- CSS Class - Leave this blank unless you know what you are doing.
- Who can see this? - You can limit the presentation of the Store to specific people the same way you can for other things in the system (logged in, not logged in, membership, member of a group, etc).
- URL Slug - If you don't want to use the system-generated URL from the Overview tab, you can create your own here to make the slug more meaningful. Once you save, the changes to the slug will automatically update on the Overview tab.
- Page Template - Select how you want the page to look (full width, left rail, right rail, etc.)
Products Tab
To add products (SKUs) to your Store:
- Go to Store & Forms / Stores / select the Store Title / Products tab.
- Included Product Categories - You can select an entire category of SKUs.
- This is useful if you want to have a Store related to a particular event or if you want to include all spirit wear items.
- If you add products later to a category, they will automatically show up in the proper store.
- Please note: You MUST have identical financial categories assigned to your SKUs for the system to include them.
- Included Products - You can select an individual SKU or multiple SKUs from different categories. If you deactivate products they will automatically be removed from the stores.

The sales information for the products is populated from the Catalog. There is not a way to change this information within a Store. So whatever is listed in the catalog is how the product will be shown, priced, etc. (One exception is the Product Category. This can be changed on the Presentation tab.)
Presentation Tab
Product Order - Choose if you want your products sorted by SKU Name or Product Description.

Items will appear in the Store alphabetically by SKU name or description. When sorting by SKU description, quotes appear first, followed by numbers, all caps, then regular letters.
Category Select Drop-Down - If you have products in multiple catalog categories, you can show a quick navigation drop-down to let the user select product categories.
Category Labels - You may choose to override category labels from the catalog in a store. Type the label you want users to see in the field for Public Category Label.
Email Tab
When an order is placed from a Store you have set up on your site, the system automatically sends the user an itemized emailed receipt. To customize the receipt for each Store:
- Go to Store & Forms / Stores / Edit the Store / Email tab.
CC on Emailed Receipts
The system will automatically email a copy of every receipt from orders placed on this form.
Email Receipt Text
Add custom information to the receipt that is specific to the form.
Linking to a Store or Product
1) You can link directly to a Store:
- Use the system-generated URL found on the Stores / Overview tab.
- Creating your own URL slug on the Stores / Settings tab.
2) You can add a link directly to a Store through your site's Navigation.
- Go to Website / Navigation / Select Menu Entry / Edit.
- A list of Stores you have created will show up in the destination drop-down.
3) You can link directly to a specific product by inserting a product "buy box” into any piece of content using the Buy Product Block Macro.
For example, you could have a block on your home page spotlighting a new spirit wear shirt and it would allow users to place an order right there!
- Open the Content Editor for your Home Page.
- Select the {{}} macro button in the editor to pull down the macro menu.
- Select “Insert Product Buy Box.”
Select the Product you want to insert.
- Select the Product Box Size - Small or Large.
- Select the Alignment - Inline, Float Left or Float Right
- The system will automatically insert the appropriate {{BUY()}} macro into your content, allowing people to purchase directly from that page without having to visit a store and find the product.
Note: Orders generated through either of these options will be listed on the order as "General Store" and will not be linked to a form.
