Inviting Users to Your New Website

Inviting Users to Your New Website

Once your site is set up and Ready to Go Live, you will want to encourage your users to visit it! You might also want to provide basic instructions about how they should create an account, etc. Below is a sample invitation as well as an attached Word Document that you can download and use in your communications.

  1. When you refer to your organization's domain name, please MAKE SURE you DO NOT include the scheme (http:// or https://) on the front of the domain. (For example: https://wyattpta.org/ or http://wyattpta.org/)
  2. Instead, in printed materials or even in e-mails, you should always only specify the "vanity" domain (such as mypta.org). The server will auto-direct it to our secure http:// or https:// site.
  3. When inserting direct links to your website, you CAN link to our URL: https://mypta.membershiptoolkit.com/home.

Sample Invitation:

Attention Parents!
Our NEW WEBSITE is up and running! Visit <insert your URL here> to see everything your PTA has to offer this year. On our NEW site, you can see upcoming calendar events, buy memberships and spirit wear, sign up to volunteer and much, much more.

Here's what you need to do:
  1. Go to <insert your URL here>.
  2. Click on the Log In button or the Registration button.
  3. If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
  4. Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
  5. Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
  6. Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.

Once your account has been created:
  1. Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information forms.
  2. Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
  3. Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with forms for PTA Membership, Spirit Wear, and Volunteer Opportunities.  All of your Back-to-School needs in one convenient place!

It is very important that you don't skip these forms. All other sales and volunteer forms will not load until they have been completed.

Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account.  This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.

Questions? - Please don't hesitate to contact us at <insert email address here>.
