FAQ - Do teachers need to be added to our contact database?

No, you do not have to add teachers to your contact database. We have a Faculty Module provides your organization with additional management tools for your faculty including teachers and administration staff. There are a few advantages to using the Faculty Module:
  1. It offers an easy way to create a list of your faculty and connect them to students without the use of a custom field.
  2. You have the ability to edit and/or replace staff names in the middle of the year without breaking your data. No mass update is needed. When you update the name (or other information in the Faculty List) the system automatically makes that change everywhere it appears.

The Faculty List is completely separate and not associated with your contact database. If you want faculty to make purchases and/or volunteer, we recommend they create an account and log in.
