Open Forms Content Page and Macro
Open Forms is a content page that is pre-loaded to every new Membership Toolkit account. It is identified by the URL Slug: /open_forms.
Your Open Forms page is important because it is the place where your users will be able to update their Family Information and Directory Publish Preferences and view all sales and volunteer forms that are active on your site. These forms are automatically populated to this page by the Open Forms Macro. You can add this macro to other content pages if you choose and you can control certain aspects of the page presentation itself.
Green check marks are automatically set to appear next to certain forms in your Open Forms block based on the form's completion and the following rules:- Forms that are set to As Many As Wanted populate a new form each time one is complete. Therefore the new (second) form is not complete - so no check mark.
- Forms that are set to One Time Only disappear once complete. Therefore, no check mark.
- Family Information, Directory & Publish Preferences, and Volunteer Forms are all forms that can be revisited and edited. They have a check mark once they have been completed the first time.
If you do not want to include the check marks or status on your list of Open Forms, you can change it so that it presents only as a list by editing the macro associated for the Open Forms. See the example below.To change how your list of forms is presented:
- Go to Website / Content / then select the "Open Forms" content page for your website.
- Scroll down to the "Content Body" section, and find the "{{OPEN_FORMS}}" macro.
- Replace the existing macro with the macro listed below.
New Macro:
{{OPEN_FORMS:NOCHECKS}}
