Check-In Settings for the Volunteer Form

Check-In Settings for the Volunteer Form

For a Volunteer Form to appear in the list of available forms for Check-In, the Check-In Settings must be configured on the form.
  1. Go to Volunteers / Forms / Select Form / Edit This Form / Check-In Settings tab.

1. Publish Dates/Times - These are the dates/times for the Opportunities from this Volunteer Form to be available for Check-In. These dates do not have to be the same as the publish dates on the Overview tab.

For example, your Volunteer Form for Lunch Duty might be available for sign-ups all year long, but you would only want your volunteers to check in from September until May.

2. Missed Opportunities - When a volunteer does not check in for their volunteer assignment, you have the option of sending a notification email.
  1. The email can be sent to the Admin or the Volunteer or Both.
  2. The email is sent after the end time for the opportunity has passed (as long as the Kiosk is Active.)
  3. If an opportunity is not associated with a time, an email will not be sent.
  4. You can customize the text for the Missed Opportunity Email.

3. Late Opportunities - When a volunteer is late to check in for their volunteer assignment, you have the option of sending a notification email.
  1. The email will only be sent to the Admin.
  2. The email will be sent after the start time for the opportunity has passed for the specified number of minutes (as long as the Kiosk is Active.)
  3. If an opportunity is not associated with a time, an email will not be sent.
