Newsletters that have already been released and sent out can still be accessed by going to Communications / Newsletters / Sent Newsletters.
Newsletter Analytics
- Delivered means the newsletter has arrived at its destination server
- Total Opens refers to the total number of times the newsletter was opened by any email address.
- Unique Opens refers to the number of unique email addresses that opened the newsletter.
- Total Clicks are the total number of clicks on any link in the newsletter.
- Unique Clicks are the number of email addresses that clicked on one or more links.
- Bounced means there was a technical error preventing delivery (server off-line, mailbox full, etc.).
- Invalid means the address is invalid in some way (improperly formatted, domain doesn't exist, etc.).
Printing a Newsletter
- Admins can print a hard copy of any newsletter by going to Sent Newsletters and selecting the newsletter you wish to print.
- Users can print hard copies of the Newsletter by going to the Archived Newsletters on your site. When they click on the Subscription List, they will be presented with all of the Archived Newsletters that were sent to that list.
In both cases, select print from your browser. Depending on your browser, the system automatically removes the page header and only prints the newsletter body. From some browsers you will also have the opportunity to "print" as a pdf which saves the newsletter as a pdf.
Archiving a Sent Newsletter
If you typically send out a weekly newsletter, you can imagine that after some time this list would get pretty long. We recommend Archiving old newsletters and limiting your list of available newsletters to the current year.
- Go Sent Newsletters and select the newsletter(s) you want to archive.
- Select "Archive Newsletter."
The selected newsletter(s) will be moved to the Archived Newsletter list. It will no longer be available on your website for users to view. However, Admins can still access these newsletters and they can un-Archive them as well.
Duplicating a Newsletter
You can make a copy of any newsletter, whether it's in draft mode or has already been sent. This is useful when you have a lot of duplicated information to send from week to week or even year to year.
- Go to Sent Newsletters and select the newsletter you want to duplicate.
- Select "Duplicate Newsletter."
- Update the Send Settings for the new newsletter, then you may edit the newsletter itself.
Please note, the "copy" of the newsletter will have the same "Send Settings" as the one you duplicated, so be sure to review those before you release it.
