PaySimple Fees



To qualify for the following Membership Toolkit Customer rates, you need to:
  1. apply for your PaySimple account from within your Membership Toolkit account.
  2. complete your Non-Profit Verification BEFORE applying with PaySimple.


Monthly Software Fee:
  1. $10/month 
  2. Billed around the 1st of the month
  3. Descriptor – PaySimple Billing

Credit Card Fees:
  1. Per Transaction: Interchange Fee + 0.65% + $0.15
    The average interchange fee for nonprofits is 1.2%
  2. Batch Fee: $0.29
  3. Billed around the 7th of the month
  4. Descriptor – Merchant Bankcard
  5. Credit card processor: WorldPay, a Vantiv company

ACH Fee:
  1. $1 Per Transaction
  2. Billed around the 10th of the month
  3. Descriptor - PaySimple Billing
  4. ACH processor: Forte

**All fees are debited from the bank account on file.


Interchange and Assessments Pricing Model:
  1. Interchange is what the card holder’s issuing bank charges to fund a credit card transaction (Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.)
  2. Assessments is what the card brand networks charge to process a credit card transaction (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX)
  3. Interchange and assessment costs are the same no matter who you choose to process payments through.
  4. An interchange and assessments pricing model passes the processing fees, that are determined by the issuing banks and card brands, directly through to you and adds a slight mark up as a cost for the service. Your cost for the service is 0.65% + $0.15 per transaction.

PaySimple Funding Time


How long will it take for funds to be deposited with PaySimple? Typically:
  1. Credit cards: 2 business days
  2. ACH: 4 – 5 business days

Transactions that are completed after 5pm are not considered completed until the next business day.

Credit Card Example: 
Order on Friday at 6:30 pm. The transaction is completed on Monday. The funds are then deposited into your account on Wednesday.  (Two business days past Monday.) This is an average. Some credit card transactions may take longer than two days but this is rare.
