Failure Re-Direct URL

Failure Re-Direct URL

The Failure Redirect URL will allow you to determine where to send the user if the user tries to open a form and they don't match the form conditions.

This only applies if you are utilizing the direct URL to create a link to the form. Otherwise, the form won’t even present on the open forms list since the conditions don't match.
  • Go to Store & Forms > Select Form > Advanced Tab > Additional Form Settings

The default setting is the Standard Error Page (404).  This is often confusing for the user because they don't know what's wrong and why they are getting an error message.

To solve this issue, you can specify any normal URL or a specific URL already in your list by using the drop down menu.  This will direct a user who clicks on a link to a form (but doesn't match the form conditions) to a different page that will give them more information or directions about what to do.

For example, if you have a form that is restricted only to members, you can redirect users who aren't members to either your membership content page on your site or a special content page that you have created that explains why they can't access the form and how they can become members so that they can access the form.
